Group Culture
I am committed to fostering a collaborative, inclusive, and supportive research culture that promotes equality, diversity, and inclusion across all levels of my group. I encourage open communication, mutual respect, and the valuing of diverse perspectives, recognizing that varied backgrounds and experiences strengthen both scientific creativity and team success. Within my group, I support the development of all members through regular one-to-one mentoring, group meetings, and tailored career development plans for students and postdoctoral researchers. I actively promote equitable access to training, networking, and international research opportunities, ensuring that individuals are supported according to their career aspirations and personal circumstances. I also encourage peer support, collaborative working, and shared learning within the team, helping to create an environment where all members feel valued, respected, and able to contribute confidently. Through these activities, I aim to support both professional development and personal well-being, while maintaining a positive and inclusive research environment.
